Join us for a performance by Monica McDaniel followed by an open mic poetry night.

Monica McDaniel is a mother, writer. producer, author, and director. As a native of Asheville, Monica has been following her passion for writing for many years. Starting her production company in 2012, Winnie Child Productions. Monica is a published author of two books of poetry and short stories. She has created stories that are relatable in the African American Communities, selling out shows at the Asheville Community Theaters.
