Become a LEAF Global Arts Easel Rider Teaching Artist!

LEAF Schools & Streets is always looking for new engaging visual artists, facilitators, and drivers to assist for The Easel Rider Team.

The Easel Rider supports the idea that art is not confined to the indoors. Using the Easel Rider as a staging arena, LEAF hires local artists – from puppeteers and painters to filmmakers and new media artists. These artists work with the Easel Rider to offer various captivating projects and outlets for youth and adults alike. The Easel Rider participates in numerous city and private events that allow participants the opportunity to experience, learn and grow, through hands-on activities. LEAF is looking for visual and mixed media artists to support art making activities at these events.

Facilitators and teaching artists are responsible for event set-up, LEAF awareness and reporting to the community arts coordinator. All teaching artists, facilitators, and drivers will be encouraged to attend LEAF Schools & Streets training and staff development.

Each LEAF Easel Rider Teaching Artist will be contracted on an event basis, with a set rate of $65.50 per event. (Plus $20 per hour for events longer than 3 hours.)
