$60 per 7-week course
Bring your imagination to life with Stop Motion Animation! Students will view animations from around the world as we learn the basic concepts of stop-motion. We will then collaborate each week to create and share short movies. Students will use their own technology, including iPads, smartphones, or computer with webcam to create their own animations.
Mayani is a Maasai boy from longido Arusha. He went to boarding school at 6 years old and lost his Maasai language and tradition. Since joining the LEAF program, he has learned to sing Maasai songs, practiced the ‘jump’ tradition and wear Maasai shukas (traditional clothing). Mayani is extremely happy and is currently teaching other youth the culture.
