Join Resident Teaching Artist Derian Blane for beginner guitar workshop at LEAF Global Arts, located at 19 Eagle Street. Class is open to ages 12 and up, as well as younger students with some basic beginner guitar experience.
Participants will learn fundamental guitar skills, chords, strumming patterns, and simple songs in a welcoming group setting. Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or building confidence with the basics, this class is a great place to grow your skills and make friends.
Cost: $10 per class
Derian Blane is a local non-binary singer-songwriter, guitarist, and activist who brings a creative, encouraging, and community-centered approach to music education.
